Dr Jessica Hateley-Browne

Jessica has an academic background with expertise in research and policy in the health and social policy fields. She is also an experienced trainer and facilitator. Over the past decade, she has held leadership roles in research institutes, a government agency, and a social policy consultancy group and think tank. She is a member at Northcote Uniting Church, where she is Chair of the Church Council. It’s a community that gathers for worship in a variety of creative ways including Bible-based discussion supplemented by art, music and poetry; Taize prayer; and engagement with Ignatian spirituality practices. She was a member of the VicTas Synod Standing Committee from 2017-2022, is a current member of the General Secretary Oversight Group, and a newly appointed Board Member for Uniting Vic.Tas. She is deeply hopeful for a better and more beautiful Uniting Church in Australia, and greatly values the opportunity to make a contribution to shaping our future through the Act2 Project.
