Benjamin works in the Northern Synod as a Frontier Services Bush Chaplain. His experience crosses several Christian denominations. Throughout his life he has found himself serving Christian institutions at crossroads. As a Third Culture Kid he is culturally sensitive and has a broad worldview. As a latecomer to the Uniting Church Benjamin feels like he has found a spiritual home. Never content with the status quo though, he is not afraid to ask the hard questions. He sees an urgency in the work of Act2 for the vitality of the Uniting Church moving forward. This has been particularly evident to him in the context of the size and cultural diversity of the Northern Synod. Benj comes to the team with a sharp eye for detail, a passion for fresh expressions of congregational life, and a keen interest in governance.
