Alison Xamon is a lifelong member of the Uniting Church and the child of a Uniting Church Minister. Alison has previously served as the Chair of the WA Presbytery and brings extensive experience in church governance across multiple levels. In addition to sitting on the CGRA Alison is currently a member of the Assembly Standing Committee, WA Synod Standing Committee, WA Presbytery Standing Committee, Covenanting Commission, her Church Council and is an Elder. Alison also serves as a Director of UnitingWA. Alison has extensive familiarity with congregations across metropolitan, regional, multicultural and diverse theological contexts and has overseen significant reforms within the WA Synod and Presbytery. A qualified lawyer, her day job is serving as an InnerCity Mayor.
