Rev Dr Peter Armstrong is an experienced church leader with extensive involvement across all councils of the Uniting Church, from congregational to Assembly levels. He currently serves as Director of Mission for UnitingCare Queensland while maintaining connections with Trinity College through mentoring and participation on formation panels for candidates. His background includes service on the Queensland Synod Ministry Education Board, including time as Chairperson, and six years with the Assembly Mission and Evangelism Network, three of them as National Convener. This experience provides deep insight into mission, formation, and leadership across the Church. His doctorate was in the field of mission, leadership, pedagogy and innovation.
