Rev David Fotheringham is formerly Moderator of the Synod of Victoria and Tasmania and brings extensive experience in ministry and governance across the Uniting Church. Ordained in Victoria in 2000, he has ministered in rural, regional, and suburban communities and supported a range of Church expressions, including congregations, covenant with Congress, and UnitingCare institutions. David has served on the Assembly Standing Committee and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, with a strong focus on governance that enables the Church’s worship, witness, and service. He is the Chair of the Commission for Governance, Resourcing and Administration.
